If you've never enjoyed a film at the Placebo Sofa Cinema, this Thursday, February 26 is your last chance!

With its digital projection system, comfy-couch seating, and eclectic programming, the Placebo Sofa Cinema has been a great concept in moviegoing not to mention a spirited jab in the eye of Vancouver's "no-fun" reputation

Alas, it's shutting down at the end of this week - but with plans to reappear soon at a more accessible location

The Placebo is a bold, fun and creative venture that I think is highly worthy of everyone's support I plan to be there for their last regularly scheduled film - Stanley Kubrick's sci-fi classic, 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY I hope you'll join me if you can Let's ensure they end their run on a high note and with a packed house!

Schedule for Thursday is: "THE SHINING" at 7:00 and "2001" at 9:30 I can't attend the first show due to a rehearsal (I'm involved in a small way in the Chutzpah! Festival) but will definitely be there for "2001" I hope you will be too
