This Wednesday I'll be appearing as Austin Powers at The Bay in downtown Vancouver! I'll be workin' my mojo - and crooning a groovy tune or two on the Karaoke machine - as part of the Clinique "Swingin' 60's Day" promotion. So come on down if you can and say hi. Peace Rally / Walk With Chomsky
I joined the many thousands who attended the peace demonstration last Saturday at Sunset Beach. There were lots of colourful characters (including a bright pink one) and, best of all, I got up close and personal with Noam Chomsky, an eloquent and impassioned voice for the Left. After the talk, I followed along as he strolled briskly back to the Hotel Vancouver with Svend Robinson, surrounded by some volunteers doing crowd control, and captured some unique photos along the way.

Krispy Kreme Pilgrimage
My friend Janet and I finally made it out to deepest, darkest Delta (now there's some alliteration for you!) to visit that shrine of sugar, that Casbah of calories, known as Krispy Kreme. Did the legendary donut live up to the hype? Find out in this scrumptious, melt-in-your-mouth photo gallery!
