I got a message from Diana Sanderg (who I know through Applause! Musicals in Concert) saying that the North Shore Light Opera Society is still looking for a bass - rather urgently I'm dutifully passing this along in case anyone on my mailing list is interested in joining up Here's what Diana had to say:

"Just wanted to say that they are STILL, and by now extremely, desperate for a bass voice in the chorus - by Sunday if at all possible The numbers to contact: NSLOS office (604-983-6444 (box 698)), or the producer, Roger Nelson (604-990-4722), or the director, David Hinton (605-0001), or if absolutely necessary, me (Diana Sandberg - 604-298-6710 - all I can do is pass the word on to one of the others)

"Rehearsals are in North Vancouver on Sunday afternoons, and Monday and Wednesday evenings thismonth, then more frequently leading up to opening on March 9 12 performances, 8 in Presentation House, North Van, and 4 in the new Kay Meek Centre in West Van "
