Fiddler on the Roof
I am thrilled to anounce that I've been cast (as Mendel) in the upcoming Footlight Theatre production of the Broadway classic, Fiddler on the Roof!
Based on the popular stories of Sholom Aleichem, Fiddler is an all-time crowd pleaser. With its memorable songs like Tradition, Sunrise, Sunset, If I Were a Rich Man, Do You Love Me? and its engaging story of old ways challenged by a new world a story laden with happiness and tears "Fiddler" is a wonderful evening of theatre.

New and Improved AdamAbrams.com
I've taken advantage of the exciting new tools out there for sharing photos, videos and info - and folded it all into one easy to update and navigate layout. It's not just a new look, it's a whole new "under the hood" system that will allow me to add content far more easily. That means more new photos, interesting links, and upcoming events.
WHAT'S NEW:
Tons of new photo galleries! My greatly expanded photo gallery is now organized using Flickr. Easier for me to add photos, easier for you to view - and share! (And extremely cool slideshows.) Most of the newly added pics reveal my passion for documenting changes to the Vancouver cityscape. Look for many now-vanished gems, views of prominent developments and restorations, and more.
More videos! I've transferred my previous video offerings onto YouTube, the 'net phenenomen that's brought video sharing to the masses. Among the new stuff: my Broadway Chorus "vaudeville" number with Bruce Skipper from this year's show, "Don't Make Me Laugh"!
TECH TALK:
The new, flexible page layout adjusts automatically to the width of your browser window. Whether large or small, the site will look good and be easy to view. I've done this by building the site almost entirely using CSS Cascading Style Sheets instead of table-based layout.
The entire site is now a "blog" - powered by the incredible WordPress content system. What a discovery that was it's allowed me to completely "automate" most aspects of the addition and display of content, making updates a breeze, instead of what they had become a tedious and rarely-attempted burden.
There's now an RSS Feed option for my site, thanks to WordPress. OK, I only just figured it this "RSS" thing myself. Basically it's just a great way of keeping up with new content on various sites, without having to click on them every day. For Mac users, here's a great link on how to use Safari as an RSS reader.
Since the site is now blog-based, you can easily leave a comment on any article or gallery. Naturally, I encourage you to do so!
I'm looking forward to your feedback. Thanks, and I hope you enjoy the new site!
