Out of the shadowy world of Vancouver’s Gastown, street artist Ken Fosteremerges as an enigmatic figure. A prolific painter, Foster is known as much for his beautifully distorted renditions of iconic cityscapes as he is for peddling them on the street to support a serious crack habit and subdue a schizophrenic mind. Inside Ken’s squalid hotel room, we are privy to an intimate look at life in the city’s most unforgiving neighborhood – and Foster’s fragmented approach to both his relationships, and his work. When Ken’s considerable talent is put to the test in Vancouver’s Art Battle competition, what emerges is a gut-wrenching portrait of a man caught in conflict between ambition, ego and the desperation of needing his next fix. Beloved drummer Benji Bohannon has been living in New Orleans for many a year but he is swinging back through town so it was decided to get the band back together for one night only. The Mojo Factory Blues Revue was a ridiculous blues band back in the day and they are going to dust off their shades one more time.. Dutch “Teddy” Robinson is a singer, songwriter, music producer and actor. From South Bronx, NY, he was one of the original lead singers with the Ohio Players. Native of New York, USA, he moved to Nova Scotia, Canada in the late 1980s, then to Montreal in the early 2000s. While in Montreal, he performed with Cirque du Soleil’s “Drum”. In 2010, he performed in the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. He now lives in Vancouver and is known for his unique and powerful R&B/Soul flavourings.
