Music Mondays “All the main guys I made music with hate my guts. All of them.” Interviewed by Almost Famous filmmaker (and former Rolling Stone journo) Cameron Crowe, 60s survivor David Crosby reflects on a long, heady, and often turbulent career in this candid, soul-searching doc. A long time resident of Laurel Canyon, Crosby is one of those artists who defined the hippie era – in good ways, and bad. Many of his illustrious former collaborators (Neil Young, Graham Nash, Stephen Stills) apparently hold him in low esteem, and he’s too sharp a thinker not to have realized there’s probably a good reason for that. His copious drug use is part of the story. But Crosby has charm, too, and the film makes the case for his formidable creative gifts. Tickets $11 ** More screenings during this week ![]() Rogue Folk Club – Sarah Jane ScoutenAugust 13, 2019 8:00 pm
