On
Monday, November 22th, I'm heading off to Toronto for a month. Why,
you may ask? Nope, it's not a holiday. No, not just a whim, either.
I'm going over to shoot a TV Movie! WOO HOO! |

That's
right - a TV Movie! I'm so excited! I have a great supporting role
and I'm looking forward to working with director David Wu. It's
a CTV movie called Plague City. It's all about the SARS epidemic
in Toronto, told from the nurses' point of view.
It's been an exciting past few weeks. It all started with a phone
call from Toronto: they had a film, and they called wanting me
to audition
for this supporting role. So I put my audition onto a videotape
and off it went to the folks in Toronto.
A week later, we got a call that they had narrowed it down to 4
girls for the part. Then about a week after that, it was down to
2, and I had to do a callback. So, after speaking with the director,
I put it on tape again, and shipped the video back east. It arrived
this
past
Monday
(the
15th).
And yesterday we got THE CALL... and I got the part!
So now, I'll be off to brave a Toronto winter. Brrrr! But
I should be back in time for Christmas! I'll
miss all the things happening in Vancouver over the next month
(shows, cabarets, parties), but I'll be thinking of you. Please
send me an email now and then,
and let me know what's happening back at home. WOO HOO!
