"Rise
of the Kitara" shows this Friday!
That's right! THIS Friday -
Nov 3rd, during the Vancouver
Asian Film Festival. I just wanted to remind you that this is
your chance to view the
short
movie
that
we made during the Mighty Asian Moviemaking Marathon. Yup, the
same
one that placed 2nd in the contest!
It's a great way to expose yourself to the independent film-making
scene. Plus, well, it's a chance for you to catch little ol'
me on the big screen at Tinseltown (in a role you never thought
you'd see)...
"Rise of the Kitara" (Action/Romantic/Comedy) -
A roller coaster ride of two opposites, their chance meeting,
and their struggles
to de-cloak each other's
true identities. "Andy" (Ed
Fong) a young cable professional goes about his normal day when
he meets his unexpected fantasy girl, "Kitara" (Lannette
New). Fearful and curious for her son, "Mom" (Shirley
Fong) starts her own investigation to expose this lady of mystery.
NOV 3rd - 5:00pm at Tinseltown.
