Hi there musical fans!

I’ve brought the Vancouver Musical Theatre Calendar (VMTC) up to date with a clutch of new listings – mostly for the new year, and mostly thanks to the musical bounty that is the Arts Club’s new season. But we start with the impending Avenue Q, running Nov 20-Jan 3 on Granville Island.

The kids are sure to enjoy Carousel Theatre’s James and the Giant Peach, running from Dec. 6 to Jan. 24.

Coming up in the new year from the Arts Club:

• One Man, Two Guvnors (Arts Club, January 22 – February 22, 2015)
• In The Heights (Arts Club, April 30 – June 7, 2015)
• Godspell (Arts Club, June 18 – August 1, 2015)
• Les Misérables (Arts Club, July 2 – August 16, 2015)

Two other favourite shows are also on their way:

• The Drowsy Chaperone (White Rock Players, Feb 11-28)
• My Fair Lady (Royal City Musical Theatre, April 9-25, 2015)
