I had the distinct good fortune of getting to know David in his capacity as director of the Applause! Musicals production of "On the Twentieth Century" last summer. His warm, wacky and self-deprecating humour had us in absolute stitches throughout rehearsals, and his personal charm and graciousness was endearing. He's a true "nice guy" who deserves to finish first. He's also producing a comedy benefit show to raise money for ALS research, and the publicity would be a great help.
