Just want to spread the word about a relatively rare public performance this upcoming Saturday night by the wonderful a capella vocal group, Verve Collective They have a really great sound, which you can hear samples of at their website, www vervecollective ca

The members are Lannette New, Jennifer Nagel, Joel Smith, Peter Brasso, Kate Polsky and Jerry Parsons All are alumni of The Broadway Chorus and/or APPLAUSE! Musicals In Concert - so I'll be looking forward to seeing some familiar faces as well as soaring and jazzy harmonies And maybe I'll see YOU there too ?

They will be followed by Peter Fisher and Friends, who will take you through the night with some R&B, a little soul, some blues and jazz funk

The food is good, drinks are very reasonable, and did I mention there's NO COVER CHARGE And you can DANCE till 1 am!

Date is: This Saturday, March 24th Location is: Purple Crab on 3916 Main St (at E 23rd Ave ) Performance time is 8-9 pm
