Ahhh, my shining moment (literally - dig those glittery lapels!) as host of the show-within-the-show, “PEI IDOL”, the musical contest where three Maritime families battle it out - on provincial television! - for the top spot. Here’s how I kicked that off!
Two families who are sworn enemies, two lovers doomed to be forever separated… but since this is The Broadway Chorus, everything will turn out fine in the end and in the zaniest possible fashion! Here are Gil Jaysmith and Danielle Lemon in a hilarious, I mean touching, romantic duet.

Mrs. Partridge is a little jealous of Cyndy Lauper, the celebrity we adopted to help us win PEI Idol. But love triumphs as we (and members of the Cuthbert and Lynde families) join together in song!
