Hi all! Hope you are well and enjoying our crisp and sunny (so far) fall weather.
I wanted to pass along a question (from me) and a notice (from my friend Mary Clark).
My Mom is planning to move up here in November or early December and I'm trying to help find her accommodations of some sort. It's a big move for her (returning to Canada after 25 years in the Bay Area), and her things are going to be in storage for a while as she focuses on getting set up here. Housesitting would be a great solution for the next little while, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a situation coming up in the next month or two.
As for my Mom - she's a reliable, trustworthy and responsible person and can certainly provide many references (not to mention her son's glowing recommendation!)
She is open to different options, so there is no real laundry list of requirements. It's just a matter of finding the right situation.

Now, on to my friend Mary who is casting for a new Irish musical! Here are the details:
AUDITION NOTICE - A NEW IRISH MUSICAL by Mary Clark and Mary Murphy Demers
We are workshopping a brand-new historical musical and we need 13 hard-working musical actors with humour, stamina and versatility. There are 60+ roles, and everyone will have a chance to shine. Irish accents are a great asset but not necessary at this point.
Roles: 2 girls (age 14 - 20), 1 girl (8 - 12), 1 boy soprano (10 -15), 2 men (15 - 25), 2 women (40 - 70), 2 women (25 - 40), 3 men (25 - 70).
Rehearsals will be 3 - 4 times a week with a filmed run of the workshop in November/December. Please prepare one musical theatre song and bring sheet music (an accompanist will be provided) and one British/Celtic folk song to be sung accapella.
