Hey there musical theatre fans! April is just around the corner, and that means a veritable April shower of new musical productions. But before we get to those, I wanted to include a special mention of a concert called The Songs of Mahalia Jackson. It’s at St. Andrews Wesley Church on Friday, April 15 and should be a memorable evening’s tribute to the legendary gospel singer. Performing will be The Sojourners and  Dalannah Gail Bowen – who is not only a friend but also an amazing vocal talent. Plus it’s a fundraiser for the Community Arts Council of Vancouver and the Downtown Eastside Centre for the Arts. So if you can, please come on out and support the Vancouver arts community by attending this fine show!

Yippies in Love moved to June!
Due to unforeseen events, this much-anticipated production from Theatre in the Raw, which was to have run in March, had to be rescheduled. It will now run from June 22 to July 3rd.
