What You Can Do!

Well, the letter-writing and petition-signing are over: the new DVD of Heavenly Creatures finally appeared in September 2002. Finally, the "holy grail" version of Heavenly Creatures is widely available - more seven years after its initial release.

The Petition. The list of names was sent to Buena Vista when the DVD was in its final stages of preparation. We'll never know for sure, but I can only hope that the Crusade - both the piecemeal one which continued over the years and the more intensive effort that began at the start of 2002 - did indeed have something to do with the appearance of this disk at long last. To all who signed or wrote, and who sent messages of support for my effort, many thanks.
